Introduction
A successful, growing business within the Food and Retail Sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced Trainer to fulfill the company’s Training and Development requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- Creating and implementing development programs.
- Working with Managers as well as the Trainees to ensure that training targets are met.
- Independently assessing performance to ensure that only suitable candidates qualify.
- Coaching and supporting employees.
- Generating SOP’s, setting performance metrics, and evaluating productivity.
- Develop an annual training plan and budget.
- Ensure adequate succession planning.
- Present monthly statistics on progress.
- Liaise with the Seta and leverage opportunities.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) and a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 3 (Three) years of experience in a similar role.
- Industry experience is an advantage.
- Own vehicle and willing to travel.
Required competencies:
- Coaching.
- People skills.
- Being fair and objective.
