Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Catering and Hospitality Industry, is seeking to employ a Store Manager to join their dynamic team. Applicants need to reside in and around the Canal Walk area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overarching experience in the store, including Food Hygiene Management, Store Cleanliness, Perfect Store Merchandising, Fixture Maintenance and Reporting, Sales Management, Customer Service Excellence, Aesthetics of the store in alignment with expectations, and the Resolution of customer queries and or complaints.
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase store sales and profitability.
- Managing store inventory levels and ensuring that the store is adequately stocked.
- Managing Team Shifts.
- Ensuring staff attendance and supporting the team during peak trade.
- Driving customer relationships.
- Signing off and tracking deliveries
- Checking and managing food service compliance with Health Safety Standards.
- Ensuring perfect store merchandising and OSA.
- Dealing with customer complaints and escalation
- Processing of returns.
- Ensuring correct content is being displayed on the screens throughout the store.
- Monitoring and tracking staff and store performance.
- Reporting on store performance.
- Briefing in and or Training store staff for any NPD’s and or seasonal product changes.
- Smart Café: Fully enabled to handle sales and service.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve) qualification.
- At least 3 (Three) years of experience in managing a retail store.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Knowledge of retail management best practices.
- Commercial awareness.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective customer management skills.
- Must have a passion for health and nutrition.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Pro-active in-store planning skills.
