Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Retail Industry, seeks to employ a Sales Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for training of all subordinates and to ensure they work in a harassment-free environment.
- Responsible to develop all the potential leaders of the company and be able to identify and place all the employees who demonstrate that they have the interest and abilities to be promoted or transferred to better positions.
- Be able to request new equipment or supplies for a department when necessary.
- Be able to allocate work and issue deadlines.
- Be able to evaluate each worker’s performance.
- Planning, and supervising staff.
- Be able to know the strengths and weaknesses of each member of the staff, as well as the results required and time allocating to each job.
- Make allowances for unexpected staff absences.
- Promotion recommendations to management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- At least 2 (Two) years of Retail experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Urgency, initiative and a positive, upbeat attitude.
- Can work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
- Available to work long and flexible hours.
- Strict adherence to all policies regarding stock control, document control, equipment control, and safety and security.
Package & Remuneration
