Introduction
Our Client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking to appoint a qualified Sales Administrator to join their dynamic sales team and help them achieve their goals. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, orders, and deliveries and provide support for overall operations and Management. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices.
If you have exceptional organizational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, our Client would like to meet you. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and achieve sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer relations: Sales, quotes, and payment follow-ups via phone and email communications.
- Accurately create quotes and invoices on the Sage Accounting program.
- Ensure the successful completion of customer orders.
- Demonstrate office administration and organizational skills to support the overall operations.
- Assist with supplier orders and sourcing of products and services.
- Fulfill job training requirements and perform additional tasks if needed due to seasonal and operational requirements.
- Support and uphold the company methods and standards.
- Protect confidential company and personal information.
- Process orders via email or phone.
- Check data accuracy in orders and invoices.
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries.
- Liaise with the Logistics Department to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Develop monthly sales reports.
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
- Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and features.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Certification in Marketing, Sales, or a relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent.
- Hands-on experience with SAGE Accounting software and MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and willingness to learn and undergo training in this regard.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Team player with a high level of dedication.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines as per operational requirements.
- No criminal record.
