Introduction
One of our leading Clients in the Engineering and Manufacturing industry is seeking to appoint a Qualified Pipe Fitter to join their team in Vereening, Gauteng.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Installing or repairing plumbing, heating and cooling, and marine piping systems.
- Cutting and hammering pipes to specification using saws, cutting torches, and pipe benders.
- Studying blueprints and construction plans for pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.
- Assembling and securing pipes, tubes, and fittings by welding, brazing, soldering, and cementing of joints.
- Inspecting and testing installed pipe systems using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
- Trade test.
- 5 (Five) years of experience in a similar position.
Package & Remuneration
Market-related.
