Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Cold Chain Industry, has a vacancy for a Picking Controller based in Cato Ridge. The candidate must reside in Cato Ridge area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pre-planning of tasks at the beginning of the shift to ensure that the workload for the day is evenly distributed.
- Visual and systematic verification of pick face replenishments.
- Visual staging verification and raising of outstanding delivery report for distribution to Transport and or Sales on outstanding documentation older than 2 (Two) days.
- Creating additional staging to accommodate daily volumes.
- Maintaining the correct amount of pick faces based on sales analysis and client information.
- Assigning tasks based on allocated resources in respective areas and ensuring those tasks are executed as per plan, and in full.
- Maintaining a 100% order fill.
- Daily clean-up of WMS in terms of outstanding orders, and replenishment.
- Immediate validation of claims.
