Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Trading and Distribution Industry, seeks to employ an Operations Administrator to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that physical and theoretical records are always maintained at 100 (One Hundred) % accuracy.
- Ensure that all Hazchem legislations and regulations are adhered to.
- Be prepared for spot audits of physical and theoretical records.
- Ensure all daily billings are captured on the billing schedule.
- Ensure that all documents are received prior to cargo being despatched.
- Ensure that KPI’s are completed and submitted to the Line Manager.
- Keep track of inventory and ordering supplies.
- Co-ordinate the receiving of cargo with the transporter and warehouse supervisor.
- Manage and update the company database.
- Prepare and conduct regular stock counts and liaise with the Warehouse Supervisor in this regard.
- Update the warehouse management system timeously.
- Ensure that bin-to-bin transfers are updated on the system timeously.
- Adhere with and comply to the Quality Management System.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Minimum 2 (Two) years of experience as an Operations Administrator or in a similar position.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of operational processes, policies, and procedures.
