Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Wholesale and Retail Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Junior Functional Manager. Applicants need to reside in and around the Kraaifontein (Cape Town) area only.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Advise teams on projects and provide suggestions.
- Evaluate the performance of subordinates to ensure that targets are met.
- Planning, organizing, motivating, and supervising the activities of the entire department.
- Communicating with clients to determine their needs and expectations.
- Developing team member skills through training programs or one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Create a master schedule for the team.
- Reviewing employee performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members and provide feedback.
- Determine cost-effective methods for completing projects.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement ways to resolve them.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric (Grade 12) Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Computer Literate.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Knowledge of EWM and ERP.
- Excellent management and or supervisory skills.
- Previous Warehouse experience (will be advantageous).
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- No criminal record.
