Introduction
A growing business within the Food and Beverage Industry, is seeking to employ an experienced HR and Payroll Manager to fulfill the company’s HR requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Fulfilling payroll responsibilities from managing rosters, working hours, biometrics, processing payroll on the Psiber payroll system, administration of provident fund, managing leave, and EMP501 submissions among others.
- Attending store meetings.
- IDP’s with managers and admin. employees.
- Managing the BSC process.
- Managing Training processes.
- Ensuring effective recruitment.
- Ensuring all warnings are issued timeously, grievance matters addressed, and enquiries are scheduled in accordance with the company policy.
- Ensuring all administration and filing in the department is kept up to date, responding to queries, emails, and general correspondence.
- Reporting and generating statistics.
- Compliance with employment equity.
- WSP/ATR submissions and applying for funding and training programs and or bursaries with the Seta.
- Submitting the annual return of earnings and completing WCL2 forms, ensuring Injuries on Duty are recorded and filed timeously as per Health and Safety processes.
- Assisting in creating policies, memorandums and drafting standard operating procedures.
- Managing employees.
Desired Experience and Qualification
- Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
- Human Resources Qualification.
- 3 (Three) to 4 (Four) years of relevant experience.
- Competent with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with a payroll and biometric software system.
- Working knowledge of Labour Law and best practice.
- Management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Own vehicle and willing to travel.
