Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Hospitality industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to join their dynamic team and fill the position of General Manager. The successful candidate will be based in La Mercy, Durban.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of property management and daily operations.
- Manage canteen staff and workload of the canteen staff.
- Manage stock levels of the canteen and timely ordering of stock.
- Manage catering for functions when required.
- Financial performance.
- Staff development within established quality standards.
- Responsible for training and discipline of all staff.
- Administrative functions.
- Monitoring efficiency of all processes.
- Creating a positive work environment for employees.
- Setting operational policies.
- Creating and maintaining budgets.
- Managing employees.
- Shaping the work environment.
- Allocating resources.
- Building the organization.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- At least 3 (Three) to 4 (Four) years of canteen and hospitality experience.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Must be good at working with kids and passionate about doing so.
- Any form of certification to validate experience will be beneficial.
- Must have own vehicle.
Package & Remuneration
R20 000 per month.
