Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Hospitality Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Food Service Assistant, to report to the Supervisor and Site Manager. Applicants need to reside in and around the Tokai or Retreat area only.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers and ensure great customer service at all times.
- Draw up a daily list of ingredients required.
- Daily check-in with the Canteen Manager and or Canteen Supervisor to maintain sufficient stock.
- Report any breakage and damages.
- Maintain proper hygiene standards in relation to food production.
- Complete any administration as requested, including food temperatures, wastage, and cleaning schedules.
- Assist with effective management of stock and portion control.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Must have Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Previous food handling experience (Essential).
- Take pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
- Experience in a food service environment.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to demonstrate great team work.
