Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Logistics Industry, seeks to employ a Finance Admin Clerk to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receiving, reconciling bank statements, and preparing comprehensive financial reports, as well as managing the administration of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update company financial records and transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receiving, including invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements monthly.
- Process payroll and tax payments accurately.
- Prepare tax returns and financial reports.
- Manage financial budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct regular audits for financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to financial enquiries and provide support to management.
- Handle and manage processing of VAT returns with the tax practitioner.
- Perform daily administrative duties such as capturing, scanning, and filing using digital HR tools.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Equivalent qualification, preferably in Bookkeeping and Admin.
- At least 2 (Two) years’ experience in Bookkeeping or Accounting.
- Proficient in Sage and other accounting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to multi tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
Package & Remuneration
Market related salary of R8 000 – R11 500 per month.
