Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the FMCG industry has a vacancy for an experienced Security Manager to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Vereeniging area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establishing Security Policies: Develop and enforce policies to ensure the safety of assets and employees.
- Managing Security Personnel: Recruit, train, and supervise security staff.
- Ensuring Compliance: Ensure adherence to security regulations and standards.
- Investigating Incidents: Investigate theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Managing Technology: Operate and maintain security systems like surveillance and alarms.
- Communicating Policies: Inform employees, customers, and suppliers about security procedures.
- Overseeing Budget: Manage the security department’s budget and expenses.
- Training Programs: Conduct training on security policies, workplace safety, and emergency response.
- Background Checks: Perform background checks on employees and contractors.
- Emergency Response: Develop plans for handling security breaches and crises.
- Audits and Assessments: Regularly audit and assess security systems and procedures.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- At least 7 (Seven) years experience as a Security Manager.
- No criminal record.
Package & Remuneration
Market-related.
