Introduction
One of our leading Clients in the Property industry is recruiting for a Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Kloof, Durban.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of Company vehicles and earth-moving machinery. Vehicles withdrawn from daily work shall be discussed with the Operations Manager.
- Supervision of staff and delegation of work, where appropriate.
- Supervision of, and adherence to, safety checks and inspections.
- Completion of job cards and registers.
- Additional ad hoc tasks such as cleaning, ordering and control of spares and maintenance kits and any other tasks or any other work as required by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
- N2 certificate.
- Diesel Mechanic Qualification.
- Valid code 08 drivers license.
- Medically fit.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience repairing and maintaining bulk earth-moving machines.
Salary
- R25 000 – R32 000 per month, depending on experience.
- This is a Permanent Position.
