Position Overview
As a Clamp Truck Operator, you will report directly to the Site Manager and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. The successful candidate will handle and move large quantities of merchandise using specialized clamp machinery. This role involves lifting heavy objects, adhering to strict safety guidelines, and coordinating efficient product placement within the warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lifting heavy objects and following safety guidelines
- Checking inventory and coordinating product placement in the warehouse
- Performing daily cycle counts and searching for missing merchandise
- Addressing quality issues during tests
- Loading and unloading products from trucks and containers
- Using various tools and equipment, such as clamps and forklifts, to move goods safely and efficiently
- Tracking and recording units of materials handled
- Adhering to OSHA and safety policies and procedures
- Preparing products and materials for shipment using forklift and manual labor
- Performing maintenance on the clamp truck
- Having other unrelated duties within the warehouse.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve)
- Clamp truck certificate (F2+A+C)
- No criminal record
Package & Remuneration
Market-related salary.
