Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Transport and Logistics industry, based in Durban, is urgently looking for Car Carrier, Cross-border, qualified Code 14 Drivers with valid PDP to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver the required items to prescribed clients at the correct delivery sites, following prescribed routes and time schedules.
- Follow safety precautions and protocols to ensure the safety and security of goods, materials, and personnel on board.
- Keep a record of log of all areas traveled to, travel time and work hours.
- Review deliveries with clients to ensure that the order and the delivery of the goods and materials are correct.
- Obtain delivery confirmation from each client.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 10 (Ten) years of truck driving experience.
- Valid Code 14 license with valid PDP.
- Valid Passport.
- MUST have Cross Border experience – this is non-negotiable (Countries – Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Congo and Lesotho).
- No Criminal Record.
- Sober Habits.
- Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
