Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Hospitality Industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team in the North of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants must reside in and around Durban North.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation of meals to ensure excellent service delivery standards are maintained.
- Manage the Canteen in such a way as to ensure its financial autonomy, i.e., effective and efficient record keeping of transactions and relevant financial documents.
- Identify opportunities to drive organisational cost savings.
- Transportation of meals between sites.
- Efficient management of inventory.
- Supervise the canteen staff.
- Ensure and maintain the hygiene of the premises.
- Submit payroll data timeously.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A minimum of 3 (Three) years Management experience.
- A minimum of 1 (One) year experience in the Catering Industry, i.e., have worked as a Manager, Chef or Cook in a restaurant.
- Exceptional customer service and management skills.
- Able to easily adapt to a changing work environment.
- Able to manage food costs and GP (Gross Profit).
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel ,and working on Management platforms.
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Must have good references.
- Must have own reliable vehicle.
