Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Fast Food Franchise industry, is looking to fill the role of an Area Coach, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
This position is based at KwaDukuza. Applicants must be available to start immediately.
Duties & Responsibilities
DAILY
- Drive sales, ticket average
- Analyze daily reports and identify any key issues
- Plan your days according to priorities
- Store visits must include:
- discuss issues from reports
- F and P Audit
- Issues arising from figure 8 (Zen put)
- Oil report
- Cash Recon
- Petty cash audits
- Random stock verification
- Labour management and forecasting (cplh)
- Guest experience survey
- Complete and maintain rock (audit) deviations
- Both internal (Zen put) and external roc
- Customer complaints
- Monitor maintenance issues
WEEKLY
- Do full internal recc visits on Zet put
- Shift excellence visit sheet
- Conduct one on one Restaurant General Manager meetings in store
- Conduct weekly conference call all stores
- Training progress and lots
- Customer complaints reporting
- Waste audit and sign off
- Bench planning
- Inspect food harvest and food disposal
- Stock shortages
MONTHLY
- Full staff meeting
- Must include ac, HR, Restaurant General Manager and Finance
- Plan and implement ISM
- OHS Standards
- Inspection on other ac areas
QUARTERLY
- Conduct appraisals and performance reviews
- Succession planning
- Quarterly getaway ac and Restaurant General Manager team

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate
- 4 (Four) to 5 (Five) years experience in a Quick Service Restaraunt environment
- Strong Financial understanding of the business
- Computer proficient
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and doing creative presentations
- A dynamic, proactive, trustworthy and hardworking individual
Required Competencies
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines timeously
- Excellent and effective planning and organisational skills
- Must be willing to learn and grow with the company
- Ability to adapt quickly to change
- Valid Driver’s Licence
