Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Food Manufacturing Industry, seeks to appoint an experienced Food Safety Team Leader to join their dynamic company. Applicants to reside in and around Pretoria, Kempton Park, Silverton, and Midrand.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct Food Safety Audits annually.
- Maintenance of the Food Safety System.
- Be part of the team responsible for Halal cuisine, when required, annually.
- Plan and monitor daily production.
- Daily reporting.
- Handle and resolve any issues or problems in conjunction with Operations, and implement corrective action where necessary.
- Oversee food safety processes.
- Keep the company informed of food safety issues.
- Initiate and supervise product recalls ensuring adequate implementation and effectiveness.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Between 1 (One) to 3 (Three) years of experience in a similar position is a must (a qualification is not a requirement).
- FSCC 22000 experience.
- Health and Safety knowledge.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- No criminal record.
Training will be provided.
Package & Remuneration
Between R25 000 and R35 000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
