The Sectorial determination regulates the Contract Cleaning Sector, as mandated by Section 56(1) of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997. The sectoral determination sets terms and conditions of employment as well as minimum rates of remuneration and associated benefits within the ambit of the NCCA Agreement.
The mandatory wage increase to be negotiated between industry stakeholders is, as of date, unknown.
The exact % increase by Area has also not been published. As the National Minimum Wage Board increases the National Minimum wage %, we will notify you of the same ASAP.
National Minimum Wage Board usually only sits in January or February annually.
