Introduction
One of our Clients, a leader in the Food Service and Distribution Industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join their dynamic team in Durban, New Germany. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about mechanics and equipment handling. Applicants must reside in and around the Durban, New Germany area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair and service diesel engines on company vehicles.
- Work with a wide range of vehicles and machinery including cars, trucks and equipment.
- Perform a range of tasks from routine maintenance to full engine.
- Analysing problems with engines.
- Carrying out routine service on the engine.
- Preparing and updating records on service work conducted on engines.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- At least 3 (Three) years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Code 10 (Ten) License.
- Relevant knowledge and skills to operate as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Vehicle maintenance.
- Engine repair.
- Must have good communication skills.
- No criminal record.
Package & Remuneration
R9 000 – R10 000 per month TCTC (Total Cost to Company).
