Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Food and Beverages Industry, seeks to employ an Invoice Clerk to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure every invoice sent out is accurate.
- Resolve billing errors.
- Check the data input to ensure the accuracy of the final bill.
- Track payments.
- Keep a record of collected payments with customer information.
- Prepare account statements for customers.
- Follow up on outstanding payments.
- Ensure that client information details are kept up to date.
- Create and send invoices and statements to customers.
- Report issues or irregularities .
- Fix billing errors by issuing debit and credit memos.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Must have at least 5 (Five) years invoicing experience on Pastel.
- Must have processed invoices before in major Retail stores (FMCG).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent in mathematics and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Work well under pressure.
- Understanding of basic accounting maths.
- Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries.
- Solid organizational skills to keep track of invoices.
- Great customer service skills to work with various clients.
- Knowledge of data entry for record keeping.
- Able to travel to Epping daily.
- No criminal record.
Package & Remuneration
Market-related salary of R10 000 – R12 000 per month.
