Introduction
Our Client, a leader in the Retail Industry, seeks to employ a Retail Coordinator to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, execute, and evaluate marketing strategies for retail operations
- Coordinate with the marketing team to implement in-store promotions, seasonal displays and advertising campaigns to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
- Train and mentor retail staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Report in-store performance, customer feedback, and operational challenges.
- Manage inventory to ensure products are in stock and available to customers.
- Forecast sales and develop promotional plans to increase revenue.
- Conduct customer surveys and analyze customer feedback.
- Lead and motivate sales staff.
- Oversee the daily operations of retail stores.
- Manage scheduling staff shifts and inventory levels.
- Ensure accuracy in stock levels and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 (Two) years of experience in a similar role in a Retail or FMCG environment.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including POS systems.
- Must have own vehicle ( essential).
- No criminal record.
