Our Client, a leader in the Catering Industry, is looking for an experienced Catering General Manager to join their dynamic team in their upmarket Corporate Catering facility in the Westville area. Applicants must reside in and around the Westville, Durban area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Staff and HR Management.
- Costing and Menu Planning.
- Cost Control.
- Liaising with clients and meeting their needs and requirements.
- Meeting financial targets.
- Monitoring the quality of the food and service.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Twelve).
- Minimum 5 (Five) to 10 (Ten) years of experience in the Catering and Hospitality Industry.
- Hospitality and food safety qualifications.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent communication and general leadership skills.
- Team player and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a pressured environment.
- Passionate about food and service delivery.
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends when required.
- Own transport is essential.
- No criminal record.
