Introduction
One of our Clients, a leader in the Packaging industry is looking for a Storeman to join their team. Applicants need to reside in and around Durban, Cornubia, Phoenix, Verulam or KwaMashu areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receives, packs, and unpacks parts on shelves
- Stamping and signing of delivery notes
- Stock rotation first in first out
- Mark goods received with correct stock codes & order numbers easy to trace
- Maintain records for audit requirements
- Monitor movement of goods
- Min and max stock levels
- Issues against internal requisitions capture on SYSPRO
- Maintain various registers, tools, ladders, sharps, etc.
- Receipting goods receipt note (GRN) by recording information as per delivery on Syspro.Follow up on outstanding orders from suppliers
- Create requisitions requesting stocks to be purchased
- hand over paperwork to creditors department daily Bin locating on Syspro
- Traceability
- Compliance with datasheet specifications
- Requisitions for reordersDaily stock checks
- Monthly stock counts
- Returns to suppliers – return receipts for credits damaged and incorrect stocks received
- Filing internal requisitions (drawing stocks)
- From time to time working after hours
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum Grade12 with Maths
- 5 (five) years work experience
- Computer Literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, and Email
- Must have experience working with SYSPRO system (non-negotiable)
- Driver’s license
- Forklift license
- From time to time working after hours
